In addition, there will be a garden, children’s play area and an amphitheatre at the beach. The space of the amphitheatre would be enough to fit in 200 to 250 visitors at a time. Sand art models will also be kept at the site to inspire children to dabble with the art. As reported by a leading newspaper, all these beach attractions will be ready by the end of December 2020.

To make it even better and draw adventure buffs, sports facilities will also be set up at Mangalore beaches. Sudesh Shetty, proprietor, MTDC told TOI that heli-tourism rides will be brought back to the beaches in December. Also, chopper rides will be available at Malpe Beach via which people can enjoy a panoramic view of St Mary’s Island.
