Reportedly, IndiGo previously started flights on the Mumbai – Gaya route, which were later suspended owing to lesser footfall for the route. It is also expected that IndiGo will also start operations between Gaya and Bengaluru from April 26.

As commercial international travel stays in a state of disarray owing to COVID, domestic travel is expected to gain pace, especially with more connecting flights and initiatives to boost domestic tourism.
